Leatherman

We are in an analog globe each of us uses some sort of system or some other. One might face an issue in which a individual missing twist of a device necessary to be used helps it be unusable. Let The sleek new leatherman Skeletool CX gets you back to basics I was able to get my hands on a Sidekick sample to review, and tried to be as comprehensive as possible. If I left anything out, or if you have any questions, leave a comment below. When the Sidekick sample arrived, the first thing I did was look it over to see where Leatherman may have cut costs. After all, this is a The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality has issued a $4,277 penalty to Leatherman Tool Group, Inc. for stormwater discharge permit violations at its Northeast Portland facility, 12106 N.E. Ainsworth Circle. The toolmaker has a stormwater discharge permit that allows it to discharge stormwater from its site into the Columbia Slough if it meets certain conditions, according to a news release. These conditions include requirements that the company visually monitor stormwater discharges for floating solids, oil and grease sheen every month. that is the federal EPA. you know, the one created by Nixon, not through an act of congress but through a "reorganization plan" that bypassed a full vote of the House and Senate. so really who is obstructing manufacturing? and what party is full of people intent on subverting the Constitution? it seems like it ain't ALL a liberal plot, in spite of what your favorite biased media outlet tells you. You're really funny. And oddly defensive. I am all for sensible regulations evenly enforced. That's just not what I see. And I am all for a robust American (and Oregonian) manufacturing industry. That's also what I don't see. I don't believe in parties or labels, I follow the money and the results. And the result of Americas current level of regulation and taxation is a net migration of our manufacturing jobs overseas. Oh, but please, don't let me delay you with my response, I don't want to hold up your Walmart shopping trip to buy your Chinese trade goods in your Japanese car. the fact is the biggest contributor to American View full sizeJamie Francis/The OregonianJames Neal, a Mason with St. Joseph Grand Lodge in Portland, watches during an MLK celebration at Highland Christian Center. After the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality issued a $4,277 penalty to Leatherman Tool Group Inc. for stormwater discharge permit violations at its Northeast Portland facility, 12106 N.E. Ainsworth Circle, the toolmaker cited a lapse in documentation. If big government keeps messing with ECO friendly small bossiness like Leaterman soon their products will come from Mexico or worse yet China. Leathermans ECO friendly business practices speak for themselves. Go after the real polluters in the Port. The violated their permit, the DEQ can't choose who they enforce with and who they don't. Has to be to the letter of the law, otherwise you it is easy for corruption to seep in. If Leatherman or any other company wanted to move production out of the country, they would have done it long ago. With annual revenue at approx. $90,000,000 is hardly small 'bossiness' (sic) and the DEQ fine for non-compliance is just enough to ensure the future attention of the EHS Officer. "The job is never over, 'til the paperwork is done." Hopefully, the company and DEQ can come to an appropriate solution. Paperwork includes what they have to provide accountants to track profits, and other paperwork needs to be kept up, I doubt that as they DID do the inspections, the paperwork was that egregious. This is the most ignorant comment I have seen on here in some time, and that is saying something. Move to China if you don't want environmental regulations. If you had every actually been there, or any other country where pollution regulations are lax, you would certainly be singing a different tune. this "fine" is all about being in compliance with the diktats of the state. and there are many of those. any business at all is probably in violation of something. tax revenues are down, this is just a shakedown, has nothing to do with the law or intent of the law. it's part of fascism. Bet you hated occupy Portland, since they did not have permits and dirtied your unused parks. These posts show the lack of education, that is palpable in this country. Not sure why they bother to appeal the fine, other than for PR purposes. The cost to appeal would most likely exceed the amount of the fine. Personally, I am willing to accept that they are above average stewards of the environment. Companies often pour money down the drain in efforts like this because the leadership actually believes their own BS about how great the company is. It boils down to arrogance ultimately, and that typical infects upper management (after all, that's how they got there usually). How DARE Leatherman flout the paperwork requirements of DEQ!!! The gov't bureaucrats will teach this miscreant Oregon based company to fail in fulfilling their government handlers paperwork requirements for even a couple of months. There's no history of Leatherman's being anything but a good, even great, corporate citizen, but the state of Oregon's DEQ will never fail to grasp a private company's failure as an opportunity to publicize such heinous behavior – serve as a warning to others who might entertain thoughts of similar behavior, play to the Enviro's desire for corporate blood, and once again demonstrate DEQ is protecting us all from an oil sheen on stormwater runoff. I'm pleased to be residing in a police state where regulations are so surely enforced, while our Governor determines for his own conscience which laws he'll see are fulfilled.
